Favorite Restaurant/Type of Food
Have you ever noticed that different age groups of people around here tend to eat at the same restaurants?
For instance, kids 2 to 12 love Chuck E. Cheese and McDonald's. If you ask anyone in that age range to name their favorite restaurant, those two places will probably pop up. Although as kids, we loved Ryan's.
On the other hand, those who are 60+ tend to eat at Don's Seafood. 95% of the time, that is where they choose to go. I wonder what my restaurant of choice will be when I am 60+ since I don't eat seafood. Maybe Don's. Maybe it comes with age...
I was wondering about the masses in the middle... my devoted readers and commenters. My favorite type of food is Mexican. I am happy eating at Coyote Blues, El Portrillo, or Taco Bell. What's your favorite restaurant or favorite type of food?

Mexican is one of my favorites too. But I would have to say that Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro in Baton Rouge would be my favorite restaurant. Right now, anything that I don't have to cook myself sounds good to me.

Being born on Cinco De Mayo, you would think I love mexican food, but it is my least favorite. I am a cajun girl. I love seafood, but not getting much chance to eat it, I go for pasta!!!! It runs a close race with seafood. As for my favorite restaurant, I like anything that serves good pasta, but putting seafood and pasta together, the best restaurant would be Copelands.

Mmm, pasta of any sort is my favorite. I love Copelands, Olive Garden, Carrabbas, etc. Really any restaurant with a pasta dish will do :)
I also lately really enjoy food that I can't have anymore, like Louisiana food - real seafood, sausage dressing, boudin, meat pies, etc. It's no fun living where people don't eat those things.

No preference - hence the size of my waist - does anyone have the number to over-eaters anonymous?
Actually - Seafood, Mexican, etc... love the spicy stuff...
PS - thanks Jaime for the comment on my BLog - you made my day.

I love Pei Wei and P F CHANG for the restaurants...anything THAI, SEAFOOD, and free. I used to be pretty big on the Mexican food; however, I'm tired of feeling so full when I walk out. I do like a good margarita and a basket of chips and salsa though.
Of course Cajun is great, but kinda filling too. I agree with Kristy on the boiled crawfish, but it's been so long I almost don't miss them anymore.

Let's see favorite food. I think I am a Cajun, Italian, little Mexican, and of course American kinda guy. I just love it all. However, my favorite restaurants are Semolina's and Dairy Queen. "What?" I know, but I love me a Blizzard. M&M, of course. As far as favorite foods go, I have 2 favorites. First, from Semolina's, the Louisiana Robin. It is the wonderful and spectacular Kristy herself, (you're welcome), who introduced me to this great meal. And my other favorite meal is the
Wheel House Burger from Bennigan's. For those who don't know what it is, it's a hamburger with 3 cheese sticks topped with marinara sauce and cheese. Mmmmm. Oh, I also love my mom's lasagna, my spaghetti, and my father-in-law's spaghetti.
