Planned Parenthood & Santa
Well, I'm 5 weeks and 5 days into my pregnancy. Doing just fine, but I want to talk about two questions right now that I hate to hear. Was it planned? And are you sick?
The first question problably has good intentions from most people. If it wasn't planned and you are upset, they want to give you the extra boost of confidence and cheer. But I hate when people ask me if it was planned because my answer is yes. And people always seem disappoionted to hear that. "Oh... really?" Arghh!
Do you ever believe things other people are saying because they say it so often? The second question shouldn't be asked either... at least not in person. If you don't see me vomiting, I'm probably not sick. BUT... if I was sick earlier in the day, why would I want to think about it? And if I wasn't sick, now I'm thinking about it and I am feeling sicker now that you mentioned it. Thanks. I appreciate that.
Well, on a positive note... Chesney & I were in the bathroom this morning and I was brushing her hair before school. She said, "Momma J, I see your stomach is starting to get bigger now." Well Chesney, not really. It's a tight shirt and I ate junk food this weekend. "No, your belly's starting to look like Santa Claus." *sigh* Out of the mouths of babes, right?

I hope she laughed when she said your tummy looked like Santa Claus.
So precious!
I don't even look here anymore for
a blog from you since it has been
soooooooooooo long! Thanks for
alerting me. I love to read blogs
although I would never know what to say if I had one. I respond to
other peoples well though. I love you. Granny
