100 Things
As inspired from Uncle Tee's blog...
1. I would love to have a professional cameraperson take pictures of my family for the rest of my life.
2. ...and make scrapbooks for me.
3. I'm stubborn because I'm usually correct. Just like my mom.
4. I want to visit all 50 states - 18 down, 32 to go.
5. I LOVE being pregnant.
6. ...but I have a hard time sleeping on my side.
7. I would be a good wedding planner or Walt Disney World guide writer.
8. When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a nurse.
9. When I found out they gave shots, I retracted my thoughts.
10. My seventh grade social studies teacher hated me.
11. I love hearing my dad's voice.
12. Growing up in Cajun country, I "should" like seafood, but I don't.
13. My most relaxing day would consist of sitting/lying down on a hammock on a porch, listening to a steady rain, reading a book.
14. I've worked for Hallmark, Hobby Lobby, Party City, and Lowe's.
15. When I was little, I wanted to be married at 18 and have kids at 19, 20, and 21.
16. I thank God that he knows better.
17. I crave anything from Taco Bell with melted cheese and extra sour cream.
18. My husband hates sour cream.
19. And cream cheese.
20. And broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, baked beans, beets, squash, zucchini, mushrooms, olives... all of my favorites.
21. I was born with 11 "fingers."
22. I've swallowed a penny.
23. Growing up my favorite colors were teal, hot pink, and purple.
24. My favorite quote is "Sometimes you're the windshield. Sometimes you're the bug."
25. I hate to do the dishes
26. ...I would rather scrub the toilet with a toothbrush.
27. I am a Disney fanatic.
28. I refused to go on a ride that drops... until riding Tower of Terror.
29. I refused to go on a ride that goes upside down... until riding Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
30. I don't smoke
31. ...and I try hard to stay away from others when they do.
32. I've never snow skied, but I have skied on a carpet mountain.
33. I have never cheated on a boyfriend.
34. All have cheated on me except for my husband ;-)
35. I don't mind cooking; I just don't because of the dishes.
36. My favorite shows include The Office, So You Think You Can Dance, Amazing Race, and Criminal Minds. I'm also looking forward to Til' Death.
37. I love to travel but hate to pack.
38. Packing makes me nervous.
39. Christmas is my favorite time of year.
40. I decorate for Christmas around November 9th.
41. I always put up way too many Christmas decorations.
42. I've seen the Christmas story so many times, I now watch it in French.
43. I've been to Nova Scotia, Canada for a five week speak only French camp.
44. Twice.
45. Talking about politics or religion with people outside of my family makes me nervous.
46. I am ready to be a MOM.
47. I am already a step mom.
48. I hate the dentist and almost would rather have my teeth fall out then go.
49. Last time I took the test, my IQ was 128.
50. I have OCD when it comes to my DVDs.
51. They are arranged alphabetically.
52. ...by rating.
53. I said when I was young that I wouldn't spank my kids.
54. I'm pretty sure I'll uphold that.
55. I also said that I'd give my kids whatever they wanted.
56. I laugh at myself now.
57. I think the best cleaning product made so far is Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.
58. I could eat cookie dough straight from the roll.
59. Rainbow chip icing, too.
60. My pet peeve is when people let their phone ring when it's in their hand. ANSWER IT!
61. I wish I could replace 90% of the furniture in my house.
62. I am as far away from being a "green thumb" as anyone could be.
63. I love Will Farrell's humor.
64. 80s light rock music is my favorite.
65. I could see myself in the 50s with a white picket fence, cleaning in my pearls, dress, and heels... minus the cleaning.
66. I had a least 10 dogs growing up at different times. A lot of them were named after foods. Honey, Cinnamon, Pepper, Ginger.
67. My dog now is named Kelly.
68. I don't have a name for my son yet.
69. I still have 2 1/2 months to decide.
70. I have laughed so hard I peed in my pants.
71. The smell of pine is one of my favorites; it makes me think of falling snow, fleece blankets, and fireplaces.
72. I think it's funny that my kids will never experience chicken pox, cassette tapes, or VCRs.
73. I think it's funny that my kids will never know what it like without a PC in every home, the internet, cell phones, or TiVo.
74. I love that I have strong finger nails, long eyelashes, and blue eyes.
75. I dislike my wavy hair and pinkie toe nails.
76. I was tricked into saying my first curse word by my cousin Kristy in 3rd grade.
77. I absolutely loved having a brother and a sister growing up.
78. I wish I had better posture.
79. I only have about 11 phone numbers memorized. Four of them are mine.
80. I know my driver's license number and my license plate number.
81. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.
82. My best solitaire time is 110 seconds.
83. I wish I could start a new wardrobe for my husband.
84. I am pretty clueless as to what looks good on me.
85. I own 8 maternity shirts. Five of them are the same shirt in different colors.
86. I was at least seven before I could blow my own nose.
87. I'm glad I'm not afraid of most bugs, lizards, or frogs.
88. I have a fear of spiders and needles. (Though they've both diminished recently.)
89. I think I'll be an attentive, loving mother, but I am concerned about postpartum depression.
90. I was not a fan of any college sports teams until marrying my husband; I will now pull for FSU.
91. I loved my college years. I would not want to go back for any of my high school years.
92. I hope my husband and I die together.
93. If a great deal of money was bestowed upon me, I would build a nice, new house with all new furniture and new clothing.
94. I now know that belly button piercings do not close up and go away like ear piercings.
95. I like watching hurricanes develop in the Gulf. (Guilty, guilty pleasure.)
96. I hate writing the cursive "O."
97. I'm very thankful that my parents forced me to clean and help in the backyard growing up.
98. I much prefer hugs to kisses, although my husband is a great kisser.
99. I will always buy things from registries for engaged couples and expectant mothers from now on.
100. I feel a since of accomplishment from completing this.
