Nesting
So I am in nesting mode right now which for all you non-pregnant folks is pregnant talk for speedy, unstoppable spring cleaning. My husband both welcomes it AND despises it. It means that the house is getting cleaner and things are being completed (yea!), but it also means he has to do more around the house too, or hear it from me (aw!). I do feel badly for him though. For the past week and a half and into next week, he will have worked 69 hours of overtime and not gotten paid for it because he's on salary. Only 6 of the 16 people who work there are on salary, so most of the others are getting paid big time in overtime. (Plus he only gets a 30 minute lunch on his 15 hour days!) Sometimes life sucks.
Anyway, my nesting instincts are in full force, but my body can only handle making it into second gear. Enter Mom and Dad. My wonderful parents offered to help out this weekend and I hope to make lots of progress. We are going to mow the lawn, install a kitchen fan, move out some furniture, move in a glider, consolidate kitchen cabinets, put together a swing, put together a co-sleeper for the baby, move the hammock and golf clubs to the outdoor shed, and maybe install the infant car seat. That's the list anyway. I'd be happy with 2/3 of it getting finished.

If you run out of things to do, you can always clean my house! Just kidding!
Let me know if you need any help.
I just bought a big hammock. So, if you or Cory needs a place to collapse after all that cleaning, feel free to stop by. It's perfect weather to sit in a hammock.

The weekend is done. We mowed the lawn, installed a kitchen fan, moved out some furniture, move in a glider and two nice chairs, put together a swing, put together a co-sleeper for the baby, snd moved the hammock and golf clubs to the outdoor shed all according to the list.
We also moved in two nice chairs given to us by my parents and fixed Chesney's swingset.
We did not consolidate kitchen cabinets or install the infant car seat. I really wasn't ready for either of these. Sooo... yes! Mission accomplished!
